Chat With a Mormon Online
I am the youngest of 5, 1 girl and 4 boys. I was born and raised in the church and i have felt the blessings from attending and being active in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. In school I have tried to make the decisions that my Father in Heaven would have me make and I have strived to do what is right. I have watched my older brothers serve missions for the church and i have always known that one day I will also serve a mission.
My parents raised me in the church but eventually I had to make the decision on whether I would keep the faith. I knew that I had received blessings from my attendance at church and being active and I knew that the Book Of Mormon was a true and inspired book from prophets of old. I knew without the church in my life, things would be alot different because I would not have that spirit that feel everyday from my baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. I love this church and I know that it is the true church of God restored here upon the earth for all of Gods children.
My Mother, while i was growing up, made it a priority that i develop my talents so that i can show them to as many people as i can. Sharing my talents and gifts has blessed the people that i have visited in nursing homes and shelters. It has lifted their spirits and shown them that life is grand. Talents are very important for the talents that we learn here will follow us on and they will change lives.
I have always attended church and if i missed a week, it would turn out to be a rough week. I am always blessed when I get to listen to my elders at church and hear the life lessons that they give. As a member of the Priesthood, I love that I get to bless or pass the sacrament everyweek and that thought is enough to keep me out of trouble for the week and make good decisions on who i hang out with and what choices i make. With the great friends i have all planning on going on missions, there really is no better time to have the church in my life.
