Hi I'm Pam

I am married to my best friend and we have four children who bring us loads of joy. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 4 great kids, and wife to an amazing man. I studied music in college and met my husband there- we were both music majors. I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom which I love! My whole family loves music, theatre and art in general and we have a lot of fun performing together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family- although not everyone was active in Church. I had a testimony very early- I love the Savior, and my Father in Heaven. I want to be the best I can so I can return to them. I want my family to be together forever. I am so thankful for the Gospel- thankful for the peace and reassurance it brings to me in the midst of a very crazy world.

How I live my faith

I am currently an early morning Seminary teacher. I wake up each morning at 5am so I can teach a class of 6 high school students about the Gospel. This year the lessons come from the Old Testament. It has been an amazing experience for me. I loved Seminary when I was in high school and I love it now. I also Visit Teach three ladies in our Ward. Our family is at Church every Sunday unless someone is very sick, and we try to always live in harmony with the Gospel. We enjoy Family Home Evening, reading scriptures and praying as a family. My husband and I have both tried to teach our children (mostly by example) to do things (like attending Church, serving in callings at Church, and choosing the right) because we love the Lord.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Pam
As Elder Ronald A. Rasband Of the Presidency of the Seventy said, "The Lord needs every able young man to prepare and recommit...to be worthy of a call from the prophet of God to serve a mission." Young men are strongly encouraged to serve missions. Young women can serve if they choose. In the end, it is entirely up to the person. Show more Show less

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Pam
Nope. But, we as members are encouraged to learn about the candidates/parties, and then vote according to what we feel is right. Show more Show less
