Hi I'm Keir

I'm a father, a school teacher, a Military Officer, a City Councilman, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I enjoy working in my garden and love to eat fresh veggies. There are few days better than going for a motorcycle ride either on a windy mountain road or on a dirt trail. I have played sports all my life and enjoy being active still. I love spending time with my family camping and playing. We love to ride. I am a teacher, a politician and a war veteran

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon particularly because of my faith that families can be together forever. I love my family, my wife and my children. I know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ and the covenants I have made with my Father in Heaven in His sacred temple, I will have the opportunity to be with them forever if I am obedient and faithful. despite my strong feelings for my family and my love for them, I am a Mormon most of all because of my love for the Savior and my knowledge that he lives. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament or witness that He lives and is the Redeemer of all mankind.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving my church in a role of leadership. I serve on a council that organizes a group calendar for our collective congregations. I also assist one of our local congregations weekly with anything they need. I have the opportunity each month in this position to teach and testify of the Savior Jesus Christ. My time of service right now allows me to minister to the needs of many of my brothers and sisters. I have many chances to serve them and grow closer to my Father in Heaven as I do so.
