Hi I'm Travis

I wakesurf. I build igloos with my family each Winter. I'm a resident physician at the University of Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am physician training in internal medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver. When I'm not taking care of patients or studying at home, I like to ride my road bike, play soccer, play ultimate frisbee, ski, wakesurf, and explore the great outdoors. I've lived in Utah, California, Texas, New York, France, and Virginia before recently moving to Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

My membership in the church has provided me with numerous opportunities for personal spiritual growth as well as great, supportive friendships. It has been my experience that life is a fantastic journey filled with plot lines, side stories, foreshadowing and incredible character development. The ways in which our lives are full of recurring themes and intersect so harmoniously with others has often led me to wonder what meaningful experiences God envisions for us to have in this life. Ultimately it's the knowledge that God loves His children, has a plan for them during this life, and is intimately involved in the details of their lives that keeps me strong in Church. Where ever I go in the world, I know that I can find friends who have similar faith in Jesus Christ and desire to live His teachings more fully in their lives.

How I live my faith

I attend a small young single adults congregation on Sundays and participate in fun activities and events with them as well as a larger network of single adult members in the Denver metro area. The Denver Temple has been a great blessing in my life as I try to attend each month and take advantage of the opportunity to grow closer to my Heavenly Father.
