Hi I'm Christopher

About Me

My passions include family, faith, music, medicine, and technology.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings eternal purpose to my existence and strengthens everything that is important in my life - the relationships with myself, my wife, my children, and my daily interactions with this world. Through faith, study, prayer, evaluation, and my personal experience of the power or repentance I have come to a personal conclusion and testimony that a "restoration" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was/is imperative to the “world-religion” of Christianity. It is my belief that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the means by which our Father in Heaven has and continues to teach us about His plan of salvation.

How I live my faith

By arising each morning and living and loving this world and my life.

What is faith?

Christopher
Faith is the first principle of the Gospel and is the foundation for all spirituality and religion. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Christopher
We - and I - believe that we have a Heavenly Father and he developed a "plan of salvation or happiness" to allow us to progress eternally and become like Him. Life on this earth is an essential part of the "plan". We believe and understand this plan to be as follows: 1. God, our Heavenly Father, is a physical and spiritual Being that created each one of us spiritually. We existed with Him and with each other before our mortal birth. 2. We are born to this mortal state to obtain a physical body and learn how to form relationships, live by faith, experience pain and happiness, and to grow physically, intellectually, and spiritually. 3. To overcome the physical and spiritual death that living in this life inherently brings, our God sent a Savior, Jesus Christ, to overcome physical and spiritual death on our behalf. 4. Through faith in this plan, and specifically in the central role that Jesus Christ has in the plan, we can return to the presence of our Heavenly Father and progress eternally. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Christopher
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. - The Articles of Faith #8 and #9 Show more Show less
