Hi I'm Kathleen Louise

About Me

I am married to the love of my life. We have 4 sons and 1 daughter. They have blessed our lives with 23 wonderful grandchildren. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, April 7, 1972 in Southern California. I love the ocean and have learned under careful instruction, how to be a Census taker for the migrating Pacific Grey Whale along the southern California coastline...I have also been studying Watercolor painting, as well as studying graphite portraiture. My true passion is doing portraits of those that I love. I love to teach and cook and walk on the beach looking for Sea-Glass and make gifts to give to others...I have served a Church Service Mission, along side my husband. Serving in a YSA Ward with my husband has blessed our lives in so many ways and filled empty spaces created as our children and grandchildren are not living nearby. In addition, we have taught an Institute Class at a local College...while serving as Stake YSA Coordinators...we are loving life...it is wonderful. I call myself an artist, volunteer, convert, wife, mother and grandmother. My name is Kathleen and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

After many years of searching for an anchor in my life...and careful prayer...I believe that those prayers were answered and that I was literally rescued from the 'World' and brought by a loving Heavenly Father into His Son's Church and His earthly Kingdom. I can testify that Heavenly Father did answer those tearful and careful prayers, by His revealing unto me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was the restored church of our Savior and Lord. WOW...I am still affected very deeply by the realization that my Heavenly Father led me to His Son's Church. It is the greatest blessing in my life and the lives of my family and their families as well.

How I live my faith

I have learned to live my faith, in just living by the principles of the Gospel. I love my Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ, and enjoy the blessings of having the Holy Ghost to guide my thoughts, intents, and actions. I love meeting people and telling them about my faith. It is simple...just follow the path that the Savior walked, in loving and serving. Service is a big part of my life, both in the Church and in my community...

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Kathleen Louise
Of course we help Mormons, but not only Mormons...we help anyone in need, as we are able to help or assist. We are encouraged to engage in Humanitarian efforts when ever we are able. We believe that we are all brothers and sister's here on this earth. So we love and serve any who needs service. Show more Show less
