Hi I'm J. Wright

I'm a husband and father raising a small family in southern Oregon

About Me

I'm happily married with two wonderful children. I work in the pharmaceutical industry.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion was to the teachings of Christ. Those teachings were left to the fullest extent in his ancient church when Christ ascended into heaven. Though the church splintered following the death of the twelve apostles, Christ reformed his church in our day, and hence the fulness of his teachings are once again available in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also called the Mormon church. Therefore, being a believer and disciple of Christ, I have been baptized in Christ's church, and I continue to do my utmost to live according to the teachings offered therein, just as they were in ancient days. That's why I'm called a "Mormon".

How I live my faith

I am very busy raising a family. I recently participated in an autism gala and do my best to help in my community where I can. I also work closely with the young men at church from ages 16-18. The world is making it more and more difficult for these guys to live by their morals, so I'm doing my best to encourage them to make good choices during this critical time for them.
