Hi I'm Allen

I am a husband, a father of 4 girls, a New Hampshire attorney, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful wife who is a faithful member of the church, and who cherishes the gospel. Additionally, I am the father to four beautiful girls. I have a wonderful family. I am an attorney. I love to play golf, if and when I can. I also enjoy the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a longtime member of the Church, my ancestors were part of the pioneers who traveled to Utah with Brigham Young. However, although I was born in the church I have had to find out for myself that the Book of Mormon was true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. My life has not always been easy. I have had several events that challenged my beliefs, not only of the church, but in Jesus Christ. During these challenges I could not and I did not lean on the beliefs of my ancestors or parents, I had to kneel on my own knees and pray to our Heavenly Father to know that he lives, and that he sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth to pay for the sins of the world. Without fail, the Holy Ghost did testify to me that we do have a Father in Heaven and Christ truly is his son. While I have been a member all my life, I have had to find out for myself that the Church was true.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth of our Church teaching on Sunday and I am the Scoutmaster. I enjoy working with the youth. I also have four Mormon families that I visit each month to share a short message and make sure their needs are met. I especially love to visit with these families.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons do not just help Mormons. One of the greatest things I can do is offer my service to ALL that stand in need of help. The Church has been involved in many different service endeavors that reach across to others not of our faith or have no faith at all. I served a mission for my Church for two years, during that time we would do community service. Most of that service was helping the local community regardless of their faith. Christ provided an example of providing service to everyone. We believe in doing the same. Show more Show less
