Hi I'm Kaisha Erin

About Me

I am a wife to a wonderful man, mother to a magnificent boy and lover of all things bright and beautiful. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, spending time with my family, surfing, snowboarding, playing games, shopping, blogging and many other things. Most of all, I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon faith, and have always had a strong desire to follow Christ's example and teachings. I continue to follow His gospel because I know in my heart that Christ is Gods son, the Saviour and Redeemer of mankind and that he showed us the way back to God. I know that as we follow his teachings we can find love, comfort, joy and complete contentment. Serving others as Christ did is a big key here! As we serve those around us, we are serving the Lord. We are tools in His hands. As a member of Christ's church, I am always striving to grow as an individual to be better. I constantly need to read the scriptures and continue learning to do this. Continually praying, studying the scriptures, serving others and obeying the commandments will bring me (and you!) closer to God. My goal in life is to become worthy to receive exaltation (or live in God’s presence and continue as a family) after this life. I want to share this gospel with everyone I know so that they can also feel of God's love for them and find peace and joy in this life and life after death.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for the women's group in the ward. Beautiful music always uplifts the soul. I also teach the 12-14 year old youth in my ward Sunday School. It's amazing what they know! Often, they end up teaching me! I love to visit teach the sisters in my ward. It is so uplifting to go into their homes and share a message with them every month. I love to meet new people and become good friends with the sisters I visit.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Kaisha Erin
I believe in eternal life, or living in God's presence and continuing as a family after death. I believe this because I know that families were created to be together. The family unit is so much more than a few people who are close on a family tree. The family is a unit of love, support, friendship and is ETERNAL! The First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints published a proclamation entitled, "The Family: A Proclamation to the World". In this proclamation, it proclaims many truths about families. One such truth is, "Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. I know that when we do these things, our families will grow and qualify for eternal life TOGETHER and be united eternally. Show more Show less
