Hi I'm Sarah Marie

I'm a Mormon. I am a wife and mom of two. Our family loves to be outside in the fresh air.

About Me

I am a mommy and I love to do things with my kids. We love to go on nature walks outside on the trail that runs along the river by our house. My kids love to climb rocks and watch animals and teach me to stop and appreciate all the beauties of this world. I play piano and love to read. I have recently began to sew cute things for my little girl. She feels really special when I do. Its been really fun being a stay-at-home mom and making time to be crafty.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed years ago to know for myself and the Holy Ghost did speak to my heart. I have had many confirmations of the Spirit since that time letting me know that this is God's church and I have written many of those experience in my journal. There have been times I have struggled and not felt close to the Lord, but I have always known the truth for myself. I know the Lord loves us and that we are his children. I know he wants to answer our prayers to give us consolation.

How I live my faith

I believe the most important thing I will ever do is to raise my children righteously and teach them to love Heavenly Father. I love being home with them and singing them songs from the Children's Songbook. I know they feel the Spirit especially as I sing them to sleep. Even though they are both under 3 we talk about what the songs mean and how we can treat one another with love.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Sarah Marie
Christ has invited all to come unto Him. I believe the best way to receive more Faith is to make a commitment to try to live more as He would live. This can be so hard, but I have found it helpful to make a small and specific goal so that I don't feel discouraged by being so very imperfect. Faith is a principle of action and a very special gift from our Heavenly Father. We can pray and ask for more faith, but also expect that it will take work. If we did not have struggles to overcome there would be no need for faith. Show more Show less
