Hi I'm Camille

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud wife of a currently-deployed-overseas-husband in the USAFR. I am a Mother and a "Mama Grizzly" to two boys and two girls, a Spanish speaking returned LDS missionary, a two-time-triathlete, a political news junkie, a busy blogger, a future law school applicant, and a Mormon. I love playing with my kids at the pool, trying new recipes, watching a good conspiracy movie, and going for a good power walk with my girlfriends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it provides me the absolute assurance of an eternal family, the hope of good things to come, and the clear understanding of where I came from, what my purpose is on earth, and where I am going after this life. I am a Mormon because I have felt the tender mercies of my Father in Heaven and I have seen them be wrapped miraculously around others as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively and joyfully fulfilling my main role and purpose on this earth: Raising my two young boys to be honest, respectful, and hard working. As well as teaching my two little girls that her virtue and right as a woman and daughter of God is the greatest gift she could have. I live my faith by sustaining my husband and being a support to him as he serves our country overseas in the military, while keeping our home a place of refuge for our children. I live my faith by fulfilling my church callings and serving those people around me. I live my faith by taking an active role in my community and neighborhood by involving myself in causes I believe in and where I can further spread the truths I hold dear to my heart. I believe service is an essential key to happiness in life. I live my faith by staying true to who I am and what I believe, regardless of what the rest of the world says is or isn't popular.
