Hi I'm Fred

I'm a Mormon. I am an accountant.

About Me

My wife and I live in the Toronto area where I work in accounting. My work has shifted from traditional accounting to doing health care feasibility studies. It can be quite interesting, but demanding as deadlines do loom. I enjoy music, and often perform on the organ in the area where I live. I do a lot of reading, and love to spend time outside with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight. My mother joined the church when I was four, and I pretty much grew up in the church. I had the opportunity to serve a mission in North Carolina and was able to see lives of many people touched and improved by hearing and accepting the gospel. I have had much happiness from learning and living the gospel and being able to understand so much that the scriptures have to offer and teach has been wonderful. I teach Sunday School in my ward, and it is very rewarding to be able to study the scriptures in detail in preparation for a lesson. This year is particularly special as we study the New Testament. Reading and studying about the life of Christ, reading what he taught and how he lived His life brings a special feeling to me and to the other members in our class.

How I live my faith

In my ward I serve as organist and gospel doctrine teacher. My wife and I also work in the temple.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Fred
The only way you can know for yourself is to get on your knees and pray sincerely. Don't take anyone's word that is it true - you need to get your answer for yourself from the source of all truth - our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
