Hi I'm Rick

The church is true and the book is blue....

About Me

I have an extremly beautiful wife and three a fantasic sons. I do everything I can to be the best husband and father for my family. I served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Riverside Ca. I loved my mission so much I eventually moved to CA. Every blessing that I have received in my life I credit back to the mission I served. It changed me forever. My family is truly the number one priority in my life and I enjoy every minute I spend with them. In my work life I am an Operational Risk Consultant for a well known bank. I am grateful for the many sucesses I have had in my career and feel blessed to do what I do for a living.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad is a convert to the church and was baptized when he was 18. He married my mom a few years later and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. I was raised by parents that taught me true gospel principles. Throughout my early years and into my teen years I had many faith building experiences and studied the scriptures. My testimony grew throughout those early years however it wasn’t until my mission that I gained a more firm testimony that God truly lives and I am a member of the only true and living church on the face of the earth. I say that with kindness and not arrogance. I will be forever grateful to my parents for teaching me the true principles of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I participate actively with my church calling. I am an early morning seminary teacher for seniors in High School. I love teaching the youth and feel invigorated by them and their desire to learn. It is a privlidge to teach them and feel the Spirit strongly each and every morning. I work to keep the Lords commandments and assist Him in his efforts. I am always grateful for the many opportunities I get to show love to His children and share his gospel.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No we do not. But we testify to the world that he is a Prohet of God like those found in the scriptures. We appreciate that he has helped us increase our testimonies of the Savior and our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
