Hi I'm Nana Teana

I am a wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), and"favorite Aunt". I like almost anything Disney, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm a Wife, Mother, & Grandmother. I have 6 children, the youngest is "special needs". I love playing with my grandchildren! I love to travel with my husband. We have been to several countries in Europe, the Caribbean and been across the U.S. We like camping and fishing. I like "the Mouse" and I enjoy going to So. California to visit him! I enjoy crocheting, cross stitch, and quilting. I'm learning how to grow new things in my garden. I'm afraid of thunder and snakes!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight but my family didn't attend church regularly. I didn't start going to church until I was 15. I started going to "Seminary" and started to feel the desire to learn more. Throughout my high school years I was blessed to have great friends who helped me learn and understand the principles of the Gospel. My sister had been married in the Temple when I was younger and she was always a great example to me. I thought that I would never be able to be married in the temple because I wasn't perfect enough. I learned about true repentance and it changed my life forever. I learned I could be forgiven for the mistakes I had made and I was thrilled to know that not only could I change for the better but that the past would be forgotten. This knowledge is a gift I would give to everyone. We all make mistakes. We are not perfect. God knew this would be the case so he provided the Savior for us. When we are baptized, our wrongs are washed away and we are "born" anew. We have the opportunity to renew our baptism every week when we take the sacrement. I was married in the Temple on June 6th 1980. This is why I love the Gosple of Jesus Christ. This is why "I'm a Mormon"!

How I live my faith

The basic principle of my faith is service. When you serve others, you learn to love them. It was through serving others that the Savior gave us the greatest example of service and love, when he gave everything for our sakes. If I want to be like him I must give my all as well, holding nothing back. The only way to gain everything the Lord offers to us is to give everything back to his children here with us. It's not always easy but it's always worth it. No earthly "treasure" is greater than my eternal ones, my family. I would give my life for my family to save them from harm. I will give my life to have them eternally. "God so loved the world that He gave his only Begotten Son, that who so believeth in Him, should not parrish but have everlasting life". Heavenly Father Loves Us! I'm so grateful to know that I am a child of God. That He loves me and has prepared a way for me to be with him again.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Nana Teana
We believe that families are eternal! That the relationships we have here on this earth can be continued throughout all eternity if we live our lives in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. We can be with our loved ones forever. Show more Show less
