Hi I'm Nick Woodward

I'm a drummer, a knife maker, a college student and I'm a mormon

About Me

I love music. I play the drums. My favorite bands are some that the majority of people have never heard of. I am fluent in Spanish, English, Spanglish, and Texan due to the fact that I served a mission in Dallas, Texas...Spanish speaking. I make custom hunting knives with my dad and brother. I don't hunt, so I don't really get to use them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but just like most people in the church I had to find out for myself if the church was true or not. I never put much emphasis on finding out the truth until I got closer to being mission age (19). It was then that I felt more of an urgency to find out for myself if the church and the Book of Mormon were true. I read the Book of Mormon and then I prayed about it and the feeling that I received in indescribable. It's something that everyone needs to find out and feel for themselves. Since then, I have had opportunities to help me strengthen my testimony of the gospel even more. After serving the Lord full-time for two years I have a greater appreciation for what God and Jesus Christ have done for me and I try to demonstrate that gratefulness in my actions and my every day life.

How I live my faith

As I said before, I served a mission in Dallas, Texas. It was by far the best experience I have had in my life. Now that I am home from my mission I continue to try and look for opportunities to serve others. I serve in my callings in my singles ward and I try to always keep an eye open for opportunities to do good. I believe that being an example is one of the best things we can do to share our faith with others.
