Hi I'm Francisco

I'm from Ecuador. I'm a husband, a dad, a dental student and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I have a beautiful family. They bring so much joy to my life. I'm a dental student and my live is as busy as it can get, especially with two little ones. I love my sons, they are my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I am a Mormon because I read the book of Mormon and God told me that it is true. As easy as that! You might be wondering how God answered me... and the answer is a bit complicated. It is like that feeling you get when you see someone that you love and haven't seen them for a long time. It is also a desire to learn more, or perhaps become better. But over all is a sweet feeling that feels good, and you know that it is good and you can't deny it.

How I live my faith

Usually I just can't avoid having a smile on my face. My faith is based upon my Savior Jesus Christ, someone that is eternal, mighty powerful and won't ever give up on me. He loves me deeply and that is why I try my very best to follow him by obeying his commandments. I live my faith by loving and caring for my family and friends.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

We believe that the sacrifice of Christ is infinite. That applies to everyone, including those that lived before Christ came to earth, and those that haven't been born yet. Christ said that if we are not born again, we cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven. This is the reason why Christ even though he is a perfect person without sin was baptized to give us a good example of the things that we should be doing. So what about those that didn't have the opportunity to know about the gospel, those that have never heard it? Well the atonement is infinite and that's why we believe that the gospel is not only for the living but for the dead as well, it is a vicarious work. Christ died in the cross for us, this is also a vicarious work in behalf of the human race. Show more Show less
