Hi I'm Daniel

I live in the U.S. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Daniel and I am currently a college student studying architecture. I enjoy music, theater, golfing and cycling. I also really like watching movies and baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I live the principles of the gospel, I feel joy. As I read the Book of Mormon, I feel joy. I know that the only thing that truly matters in this life is living the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because it is the way to live His gospel. I know who I am, a child of God, and what my purpose is on this earth, to live faithfully so that I may return to live with God again. I know that He is there and cares about me. I have seen it time and time again that if I do what I am supposed to in life, He makes it all work out. God wants us to be happy and we can find this joy by following his Son and using His Atonement in our lives. If everything went wrong in my life, I would be alright because I have this knowledge. I would be alright because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my local congregation, or ward. I live it by trying every day to keep the commandments. I live it as I try and serve other people and do all I can to be a good influence. This is what the Savior did when He was on the earth, I can try my best to do it. I live my faith as I study the scriptures and find strength from what prophets have taught. I live my faith as I stand up for my beliefs. I am sometimes afraid to say anything. But I know that I can be better at defending my faith. It is not a matter of putting others and their beliefs down. Rather, its about remaining true to what it means to be Mormon regardless of what people think. I live my faith as I sing the hymns of the gospel.
