Hi I'm Ron

I'm a husband and father of four, I'm a Financial Advisor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy being with my family. I enjoy sports, hiking, camping, waterskiing and politics. I like to go to college football games. I love my grandkids. I work as a Financial Advisor. I recently have become a photography enthusiast.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon contains the word of God and is another powerful witness that Jesus is the Christ. I love the Book of Mormon because of what I feel and learn when I read it. I strive to live by the teachings of Jesus Christ contained in this book and have been blessed because of it. I know that the doctrines contained in this book are true and therefore I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and because of that I am a Mormon. I understand the Bible better because of the Book of Mormon. My faith is strengthened by studying this great book and I am able to recognize both the good and evil around me because of the teachings found in the Book of Mormon. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is true and the Book of Mormon is evidence that God loves us.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. I study the scriptures and pray to learn more about God and Jesus Christ. I teach my family to do the same. I serve in a leadership position in the church. I serve by teaching and training other leaders. I frequently am asked to speak to the congregations in our geographic area. I prepare for these assignments by studying the scriptures. I pray and seek guidance from Heaven to know what to teach. I also work with youth groups and in addition to teaching, I go hiking and camping and boating with them. These activities help provide opportunities for spiritual lessons to be learned. I believe that God shows his love for us by calling prophets and apostles to lead His church and reveal His will to us in these days. I strive to live my life according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. This has brought peace and happiness to my life.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?
