Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Name is Matt Jamison, and i am a Mormon. i grew up in southern Utah and after serving a mission for the church in Tulsa Oklahoma. i returned home married the love of my life in the temple after dating for five years. I am a college student pursing a nursing career. my interests are basketball, enjoying the outdoors, reading and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because i struggled to figure out what i believed in, i did all sorts of searching wanted to know what was best for me in my life and what God wanted me to be envolved in. i know that God cares about us so much and did not intend for it to be difficult to fallow in his ways what a wonderful promise the Book of Mormon closes that if we read it, believe in jesus christ, have real intent, and disire to know the truth that our prayers will be answered and we can know for a certainty that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truely the Lords kingdom here again prepatory to the comming of the savior as promised. i am so greatful for the book of mormon for it is a testimony of John 316 when it says that God so loved the WHOLE earth what a blessing to have a record of the peoples dealings with our savior on the american continent.

How I live my faith

i live my faith ingrained in my lifestyle i try to show it in all aspects of my life, when you have truth testified to you like i have, and like any and every single person on this earth can have. it gives you a strong desire to live the gospel of Jesus Christ to the best of your ability. i try my best to be a vessel for our heavenly father to do his will and to help out those around me. Nothing can offer the peace of mind like the fullness of the gospel has to offer. i love the relationship i have with my savior Jesus Christ and am so grateful for the relationship that has developed because of a knowledge of the restoration of the fullness of the gospel.“True doctrine, understood, changes attitudes and behavior. and i know that the more i come to understand the teachings of our heavenly father and Jesus Christ the more i will be able to fallow in his foot steps and try and be a example as the savior is.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

In Corinthians 29-16 paul teaches us how if we are going to learn or believe anything spiritual, it must be discerned in a spiritual matter, so if we are going to know if the Book of Mormon is true the only way we can know is by reading and praying about it and asking our Father in Heaven if the Book of Mormon is true and when we do that we will recieve the answer that it is true. A good example of this is in Matthew 1615-19 when Peter and Christ are walking together and Christ asks Peter, whom say ye that i am ? Peter was able to respond thou art the Christ. Peter was able to do so because like Christ said, that it was his Father in Heaven that revealed to Peter through the Holy Ghost that Chirst truely was the Savior. seeing is not seeing in not enough in believing in the lord, we need to gain that spiritual witness from our Heavenly Father that these things are true Show more Show less
