Hi I'm Matthew

I was born in Indiana. I'm going to school for accounting and am a Precinct Committeeman for my town. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Precinct Committeeman for my town. I work with the residents in my precinct to make their voice heard with the town council. Also, I am a Quality Assurance Auditor for the federal government. I am going back to school for accounting. I have six children. I stay busy with all the activities my kids are involved with. I love having a big family. My wife is amazing. I learn so much from her.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel teaches me that I can be forgiven for my wrongs. It tells me that I can be with my family, not just for this life, but all eternity. It gives me a chance to directly serve the members of my church and local community. I get to have an impact on helping the youth grow in their desire to be good spouses and parents in the future. I know the Lord loves me and wants what's best for me. I know the Lord wants us all to return home to live with our family and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the 11 yr old Scout leader. This means that I help guide and teach the young men on Sunday. I help with scout and youth activities. I help foster good values of being morally clean, watching and listening to good media, living healthy lives, and learning to be the leaders of tomorrow.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

The role of a husband and wife coincide. Both are equals in the marriage relationship. Neither is put before the other. Each bring special gifts, skills, and talents that are unique to them from their time in the premortal existence to what they have learned here on earth. A mother and father have essential roles that teach and help guide their children back to their heavenly home. A mother and father should love, serve, and care for each other the same as they would their children. Parents are to teach their children the importance of a loving relationship and home with their goal of watching their children raise healthy families both spiritually and temporally.
