Hi I'm Scott Watkins

I'm a husband, a proud father of three, an engineer at Boeing, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was married in 2003 to the love of my life in the San Diego Temple! We now have two handsome boys, and beautiful little girl! I also love airplanes. It's what I do all day! I love swimming and riding my bike. In fact I have participated in 9 triathlons over the past seven years. I served a 2 year mission in Osorno, Chile from 1999 to 2001. I love serving in the church in our area.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home where my family taught me the gospel. I have chosen to continue this course because I know it is the only path that will forever lead to happiness. There are other paths of life we can choose to take, but the one that will bring us the most happiness today and forever is following the teachings of Christ.

How I live my faith

I strive to be like Jesus each and every day. We all have things in our lives we are trying to improve, but the wonderful thing is that each day is a new one, and with the help of our Savior I can repent and improve. There is not a single experience in life that that we cannot learn from. There is not a single person we cannot learn something from. In every situation I face, I try to understand why the Lord gave me this experience, and what I am supposed to learn from it. It is my faith that there is always a reason. The Lord knows us and loves us.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Scott Watkins
People who have found the Church are able to know without a doubt that the doctrines are of God. The witness comes as they pray to know it is true. Every doctrine they are taught makes sense and strikes a familiar chord because it is what we were taught as we prepared to come to earth. Show more Show less
