Hi I'm Timothy

About Me

I never refer to myself as being "a Mormon" because I feel it is non-respectful to my Saviour, Jesus Christ. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jesus Christ is my personal Saviour. For many years I searched for a church that was true; one that I could really know was true. Through study and prayer I have come to know what Church is really of Jesus Christ. I'm married and we live in a very beautiful part of the world. Currently, I work as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. My wife and I enjoy hiking, gardening, and playing badminton. I don't play the piano, but enjoy listening as my wife plays.

Why I am a Mormon

As previously sated, I'm not a Mormon, (I am however a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), and therefore I'm a 'Latter Day Saint'. I have chosen to be a member of His Church partly because it bears His name (Jesus Christ). "And how be it my church save it be called in my name? For if a church be called in Moses’ name then it be Moses’ church; or if it be called in the name of a man then it be the church of a man; but if it be called in my name then it is my church, if it so be that they are built upon my gospel." (please see Book of Mormon, 3rd Nephi 27:8) The main reason I am a member of the Church is because the Holy Ghost has let me know in my heart and mind that all that is taught (in this Church) is the truth from God.

How I live my faith

I try my best to treat others the way I would like to be treated
