Hi I'm Wayne

I am a middle-aged, hard working father of two and married for over thirty years. I have a son on a Church mission.

About Me

I am an adult male owner of a small business. I enjoy family, boating, fishing, hiking, and road biking. I am the father of two boys ages 19 and 22. I have a lovely, talented wife to whom I have been married for over thirty years.

Why I am a Mormon

Primarily I am a Mormon because I was born into an active Mormon family. However, I have chosen to drawn near to the Church, live its precepts and teachings, and serve wherever and whenever I can. I do this because my faith is made strong from studying the Holy Bible (Old and New Testaments) and the Book of Mormon and other Church scriptures and publications. This study, along with prayer, attending Church, and service in my Ward and family, bring light and inspriration to my life, leading to a peaceful and happy existence.

How I live my faith

I serve as a Ward Clerk. This means that I keep minutes of meetings and keep track of the tithes and offerings given by members of my Ward. I am also assigned as a Home Teacher, meaning that I make friendly calls on a few other families in the Ward each month just to make certain that the Church is fulfilling their needs.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

You become a member of the Church by having conversations with missionaries. They will teach you about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and will give clear answers to your questions about God, our purpose here on earth, who is Jesus Christ, and what happens after death.
