Hi I'm Michael Adam

I grew up in Illinois. I am a foster parent. I am a Civil Engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Civil Engineer - Water and Wastewater Practice Leader at International Engineering Firm I love to play basketball and watch college football. I am a foster parent. I am married with 6 children I live in Arizona

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church, but had a magnificent conversion experience through prayer and reading of the Book of Mormon. After high school I worked in a seed distribution center, and each day during lunch I would anxiously open the Book of Mormon and the world around me seemed to dissolve as I read the facinating stories found within its pages. I realized that the feelings that I had were from God, and I had a great desire to learn more. Today (over 20 years later) I live my life with an understanding of God's plan that brings purpose to my trials and greater joy to every day living. The gospel is now blessing my children with an understanding of who they are and why they are here on earth.

How I live my faith

I teach a scripture class to high school students at 5:50 each weekday morning during the school year. As a home teacher, I visit with and teach 3 families on a regular basis.
