Hi I'm Michael

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am father and husband. I work as a mental health counselor. . I enjoy history, college football, relaxing on the river, and hiking. I am convert to the church when I was 18 years old. I served a mission for the church about a year later in California Anaheim. It was an awesome exoperince that would help me grow in my relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up Lutheran and loved being Lutheran and loved the people and still do today. I know since catchesim I kept having lingering questions about Gods plan and understanding what it meant to be Lutheran. I had questions about what authority are we acting under, prayer, notion of saved by Grace, undertsanding Gods plan, Heavenly Father, Jesus Chirst, and Holy Ghost. In genral I felt there was something missing but every time I would ask questions I would recive the same answer these questions do not have answers but have faith. I follow that plan I did what I was supposed to do in the church but those questions never went away. One afternoon my good friend was leaving for the military after graduation and they were going to have a going away party at this party was two mormom missionaries. I can not explain it at the time but I now know but these missionaries brought with them the Holy Ghost. I can say for the first time in my life I exerienced the feeling of the Holy Ghost- it was amazing but it was that feeling of the Holy Ghost led me to pursue to finding answers to my questions to being baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Dy Saints. A year later being prompted to serving a mission for the church. There is more to my conversion story and if interested I will tell but the reason I am Mormom this is the true gospel of our Heavenly Father and all the principle and ordinaces will allow us to return and live wiht him one day. The most important reason I am a Mormon is to know that Christ lives today and speaks to us through our prophet.

How I live my faith

I live in the Nauvoo area and keep myself busy with misisonary work, helping members of the church in need, and doing what I can to to make my community a better place to be. Family is important to me and I will spend a lot of time with my wife and daughter. I find myself living my faith is following the teachings of our Savior.
