Hi I'm Michael

I'm a commercial bankruptcy attorney in an AmLaw 100 firm. My wife and I have six children, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a partner at a large law firm where I focus on commercial bankruptcy, my wife and I are the parents of six children and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. God has spoken to my heart and mind on many occasions by His holy Spirit confirming the truth of this work. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have read it many times. It testifies of Jesus Christ and plainly teaches His doctrine. It goes hand in hand with the Bible which is also a testament of Jesus Christ. God call prophets today. I know these things are true and I invite you to find out for yourself that these things are true.

How I live my faith

My faith shapes every aspect of my life. I pray and study the scriptures each morning. I keep a picture of Jesus Christ on my desk at work to remind me of the type of person I need to be. As an attorney I am honest in my dealings with others. When faced with difficult ethical situations, the Savior's teachings provide a sure compass to guide me to make the right decision. The principles of the gospel help us in teaching our kids to love one another, to serve each other, to be kind, and to work and play together. As an eleven-year old Scoutmaster, I teach the young boys that Scouting and Church have a common first core--doing one's duty to God.
