Hi I'm April
Hi, I am Stay at home, Homeschooling Mother of 6 beautiful Children. I Love Music and enjoy singing, and composing music on the piano. I have recently started learning other instruments such as the hammer dulcimer, and harp. I would like to one day learn the violin as well. I enjoy scrap booking, rubber stamping/card making with my children, taking walks with my family, outdoors, and exercising. I Also really enjoy doing family history, and learning about my heritage.
I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I Love the Gospel, the peace and comfort it brings to my life. What keeps me going each day, is the knowledge that the Savior is real. He loves me, and that this Gospel is true. I have prayed several times in my life to know for sure if it is true when I have been faced with opposing influences telling me otherwise. Each time I have always found the answer YES the Church IS true. It is all around us.. In nature, the world around us, Science, the Bible, and the Book of Mormon truly testify of Him, and prove in so many ways that YES, it is true! I know it with all my heart. He has answered my prayers so many times, and been there for me. Even when I have felt at times, that I didn't deserve the help, He has always helped me, and comforted me.
It has helped me to know right from wrong. It has helped me in times of danger to know to get out, or not to do something that would later protect me. It has helped me to know how to help others or if I needed to do some kind deed. It has brought me.
I always feel renewed and happy when I go to church. It helps me learn more of my Savior and what he wants me to be. It helps me to feel closer to my Savior and my Father in Heaven and helps remind me that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and has not forgotten me! We are all his children and he loves all of us. Going to church each week helps me to be a better mom, wife, and helps me to get through the trials and struggles that come with life.
Through reading our Book of Mormon, and Bible, Praying together as a family both night and day, having time set aside to spend time together as a family and study the gospel of Jesus Christ, and attending the Temple. The Lord has promised us that when we read the Book of Mormon there will more love and harmony in our homes, contention will cease, and the Lord's presence will be there.
I enjoy the Gospel and what it teaches me. I enjoy serving others, whether it be through those I visit and teach, or friends . In being a visiting teacher I have not only taught these women gospel truths, but I have also made dear friends through this. In helping others, it helps me to also forget my own trials in life. We lose Ourselves in the service of God and of others, and this promise, has truly manifested this for me.
