Hi I'm Samuel

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy dirt bike riding and camping! I enjoy snowmobiling in the winter, I love the outdoors! Wake boarding and water sports in the Summer. Hanging out with friends. I served a mission in Boston, Massachusetts. I love being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because like many of them I have read, pondered and prayed about the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true. The answer that I received from the Holy Ghost started me on the path to Follow Jesus Christ and his teachings. It has continually sustained through many things and I continually receive answers of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints through the Holy Ghost by praying and seeking out the answer. I follow simply because I received an answer from myself from the Holy Ghost and not from any man on Earth and I continue to seek out answers in the same way regarding the truth.

How I live my faith

I have been the leader of a few of my church youth quorum groups when I was younger, in church they split the youth up into age groups so that your always with someone your age. I always felt loved in the Church and have always had friends that were my age and older who I could count on. I was a home teacher with my Dad and we went and shared messages about Jesus Christ to Members of the Church that we had been assigned to teach. I served a mission, where as I was bale to serve and teach others about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I do my best to follow the counsel of our current Prophet and Apostles. I follow Jesus Christs example by doing my best to serve people and to love them and to learn of him through the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and from the words and teachings of our modern day Prophet Thomas S. Monson, his counselors and the 12 Apostles.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Samuel
Yes they can. I do believe that families can be together forever. The Church of Jesus Christ believes that when we are married in the temple it is not only for this life but for the life to come as well. As Husband, wives, parents, and children keep the commandments and promises that they have made to God, they are able to be with each other forever. It is in the Temple where this sacred eternal marriage is performed and when the family is sealed together they make covenants or sacred promises to God that if kept will have them be together forever not only in this life but for the eternities to come. Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Samuel
Absolutely not, as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we do not worship Joseph Smith. Though we do revere and honor him as the Prophet who was called by God the Father and his son Jesus Christ to restore the true church of Jesus Christ on the Earth. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Samuel
The Holy Ghost is 3rd member of the God-Head as we call it. We believe that God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are separate and distinct people and they are what make up the God-head. We believe that Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit, meaning that he does not have a body but is in reality a spirit. He is how God and Jesus Christ communicate and help us to recieve answers to our prayers. The Holy Ghost's main role it to testify of God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. He is the peaceful, joyful feeling that we recieve when searching for an answer to our prayers. In Galations Chapter 5 versus 22-23 it talks about the Fruits of the Spirit or Holy Ghost or in other word what the Holy Ghost feels like and what it will feel like when we recieve answers and are doing the right things and what following the answers that we recieve brings to us the eternal love, joy, peace, and comfort from following Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ.  Show more Show less
