Hi I'm Trisha.

I'm a wife, mother, registered dietitian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of two and a stay-at-home Mom. I worked as a registered dietitian prior to having children, and although I keep my credentials current, I choose to stay at home. I love to cook, and enjoy feeding those I love. I also enjoy knitting, woodworking, gardening, reading and travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a strong Mormon family that taught me to pray, and find answers to prayers in the scriptures. Life is hard enough without the added complications that come from straying from the teachings of Jesus Christ. Living the gospel brings me happiness and gives me the daily guidance I need to make correct choices. My personal relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing He has a plan for us helps me cope with trials and loss. Knowing that living his gospel will allow me to be together forever with my family gives me happiness and hope. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I read scriptures with my family, have daily family prayer, and attend church every Sunday as a family. I teach 8 & 9 year old girls how the gospel of Jesus Christ helps them develop their talents and prepares them for life's challenges.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Trisha.
God has revealed to us through the prophet Joseph Smith His law of health. Besides avoiding harmful and addiction-forming substances, it also teaches us to eat a healthful diet and stay physically active. When we follow this counsel, God promises us blessings of health and strength. Show more Show less
