Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I served a two year LDS mission in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. I work in the tax accounting field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 25 years old and married my lovely wife two years ago. By day I work as a tax accountant, by night I study for the CPA Exam. I'm kind of a nerd and I like to crunch numbers. I'm about to take my first section of the exam and I hope to get my license within the next year. In my free time I like to do outdoorsy things and play sports, however I'm passionate about tennis in particular and I've enjoyed years of playing and occasionally coaching.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons I could put as to why I am a Mormon. As I've participated in the gospel I've seen it uplift my life and the lives of each member of my family. My parents raised me in a Mormon home and provided a solid foundation for me, but I've since gained my own personal testimony that the Book of Mormon, in addition to the Bible, contains the gospel of Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith was a real prophet of God. Because I know these things are true, I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Like a lot or Mormons, I grew up in Utah going to church each Sunday and participating in church activities and I've realized that my faith has influenced virtually all my decisions. The gospel of Jesus Christ is meant to be internalized and affect who we are rather than simply determining what we do. Although I work a 8-5 day job I take time to study the scriptures each day, pray, participate in church activities and be an active members of the communities of which I am a part of.
