Hi I'm Brandon

I grew up in the Evergreen State. I hiked the Chilkoot Pass in Alaska, and now enjoy a basic life in Accounting.

About Me

I am currently in Public Accounting. My wife is also an Accountant. Some could say and might be right that we are very boring. I disagree. Only my wife is boring :D. I really love the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and sports. I have been to Alaska doing Helicopter, and Whale watching tours. I have worked Construction framing, sheetrocking, the works. I grew up on a farm in Washington State, and learned from a young age to drive tractors and run a sawmill, logging, bail hay, milk cows, and all that fun stuff. I also learned from my Father how to build and setup computers, and now enjoy that as a hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

Because nothing in this world can explain away, or replace the way I feel when I hear someone bear witness about the story of Josepth Smith, or testify of the divinity of the Savior Jesus Christ. Or when testimonys from the Book of Mormon are read, the Holy Ghost bears record to my soul that things that I have heard are true. There is no other object or person, or place that can come close to replacing or comparing to the joy or peace that comes when recieving a witness from the Spirit. I cannot find any other way to emulate those feelings, and I have come to know that those feelings and impressions are coming from God. And they are telling me that this Church is true, and God loves me, and has prepared a way for me to recieve a fulness of joy with him and with my family.

How I live my faith

If I could say anything regarding living the faith. I would say, that I live my faith by trying to follow the righteous examples of those who have come before me, my parents, and most importantly follow after my Savior Jesus Christ. I trust in my God, and I know that he listens to my petitions, and I know that I must put away pride, foolish things, and trust that my Father in Heaven knows how to best help me in all areas of my life, be it spiritual, educational or professional. I know that as I try to live my life according to the instructions that I have received I will live a life worthy of remembering, a life patterned after the Savior, and a life that portrays to everyone I meet, that I have a lived a life filled with faith.
