Hi I'm Troy

I'm a Mormon. I live an active life and try to balance my time between family, church, and work.

About Me

My friendships have been based on my activities in sports, mainly basketball. I enjoy friendly competition that allows social time. My wife and children have also been the source of all my other associations. I am a CPA and enjoy adding value to the company I work for.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a Mormon heritage. I was a believer from an early age, but gained my solid testimony of the church as a teenager by praying and listening to the Holy Spirit. My testimony has strengthened as I have lived by the teachings of the church, read the scriptures, and followed the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I go to almost all the activities organized in the congregation I attend. This allows me to fellowship with the other members and serve our community. I have also served as a treasurer for the chamber of commerce and the Boy Scout council. I have enjoyed coaching various youth teams in sports.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Troy
We believe all of God's children must be baptized in order for them to live with Him again. This ordinance must be performed on this earth and we are privileged to provide this service to those who did not have the opportunity in this life. Each of them will have the choice to accept for themselves our loving act on their behalf. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Troy
It is a commandment from God. I believe God has helped me remember where all my financial blessings come from through my tithe paying. My faith has increased as my temporal needs have always been met. Show more Show less
