Hi I'm Carmen

I grew up in Montana. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 57 year old wife, mother, grandmother and a new convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm oringinally from Great Falls, Montana, my children and I moved here in 1989 to get away from an abusive relationship. I grew up as a Catholic and went to Catholic school for seven years. Grew away from the church after high school. I'm part Native American, French, Scottish and Norweigan, what a mix, huh? I have 1 son and 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren 4 boys and 2 girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my heart and my soul (the Holy Ghost) told me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church of Jesus Christ. I read the Book of Mormon and the Gospel Principals in the first month of meeting with the missionaries and had so many questions answered for me, questions I had had for many years that Catholism could never or would vaguely answer. I'm 57 years old and finally feel that all my sins have been washed away and I am worthy!!

How I live my faith

As I said before, I'm a new convert of six months and right now I have a couple of ladies that I visit teach. I go to their homes once a month and bring them a message from the Ensign a LDS magazine to share with them or an article that has touched my heart. I spend 20 or 30 minutes with them, I also see if there is anything that they might need or if I can help them in some way.
