Hi I'm Jim

I am a retired CFO. I have traveled extensively but my favorite place is home. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Happily enjoying retirement. Relishing the additional time I have with my family. Once again pursuing hobbies long ago put aside. I love life and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found Mormons to be wonderful people to be around and with whom to associate. I love the emphasis on family found in the Mormon Church. I find the doctrines to be logical, fulfilling and uplifting. And the Book of Mormon has touched my life in a powerful way and increased my testimony of the reality and divinity of Jesus Christ. However, the most important reason I am a Mormon is because my earnest prayers to know God's will for me have been answered. The Spirit of God has testified to me in an undeniable way that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led and directed by the Savior himself through a living prophet.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching others about Jesus Christ and His gospel. I have been blessed to be able to do this as a young missionary, as a Sunday School teacher, as an assigned speaker in the worship services of many congregations, as a trainer and adviser to lay leadership and recently as a leader and trainer of hundreds of missionaries serving in Africa. My most joyful experiences outside of family have been to see people's lives change for the better as they have accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ.
