Hi I'm Karma

I'm happy to be a wife, mother, and a grandmother. I'm happy to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of six so I love eight member families - especially mine that has grown to 32 today! Family is my greatest interest and I treasure the time I get to spend with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. In addition I enjoy music, housekeeping, playing the piano, sewing, reading, and keeping journals. This beautiful world in which we live amazes me - sunsets, mountains, flowers, oceans, sky, clouds, green grass, warm rain, snow. Growing a garden is important to me so much of my summer is spent gardening vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were strong members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a result, the Gospel has always been a big and important part of my life. My testimony of the Gospel has been strengthened as I have raised a family, sent six children on missions, held teaching and leadership positions, and supported my husband in his callings. I know that true happiness and success will be mine as I continue to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Studing the scriptures, daily family prayer, attending the temple, and church meetings are common occurances in my life. Most recently my husband and I finished serving an 18 month Church mission where we served in the Washington DC Temple. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives seniors an opportunity to serve. This was a wonderful experience and my companion was the very best!
