Hi I'm David.

I'm a nerd, I like mountains, I try to bake, I love concerts, I believe in Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Let's see.....I recently served a mission in Boston, Massachusetts, and I taught in Haitian Creole. I'm from Henderson, Nevada. I love anything nerdy, geeky, you name it. Comic books, movies, and random bands are my time wasters. I love cooking and making things with stencils even if I may not be the best at both. I have too many ridiculous goals in life. Many of which include climbing mountains across the world, opening a bakery, owning a Triumph motorcycle, joining the Air Force, or being a part of the peace corps.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church like many of my Mormon friends, but I stayed in the church because I saw the difference in direction of my life and the lives of my friends who don't have this gospel. You can tell when somebody truly knows about Jesus Christ's role in their life and the influence it has on the kind of path they want to take.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best I can. Hopefully my actions will inspire others to be more like the Savior. I've come to realize that happiness, peace, order, really anything you want in your life boils down to following Heavenly Father's commandments for us and helping others do the same.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

David.
When missionaries come by they will share a message about Jesus Christ and his restored church on the earth today. The missionaries will also teach to whatever you need to hear. Yes missionaries have a plan of things to teach, but they will bring up the point of the gospel that you need at that point in time to help you know that Heavenly father knows you personally. In whom should we have faith?

David.
The one and only person we should have Faith in is Jesus Christ. Faith can be described as "believing in things which are not seen, but are true." Also, if you don't do anything with your faith then it will wither away. True faith in Jesus Christ means that we want to developthe same attributes that he has and follow his commandments. We also have faith in his sacrifice for us that we really can have that burden of sin lifted from us. Show more Show less
