Hi I'm Wayne McLaws

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work for as an Enrollment Manager for large educational institution. I also serve as Bishop of an LDS congregation in Arizona. I have a beautiful wife and 3 wonderful children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have gained a strong faith in the Book of Mormon which is another testimony of Jesus Christ. I am thankful for modern day prophets who lead us today just as prophets such as Moses did in days of old.

How I live my faith

Though far from perfect, I strive to live my life in a manner consistent with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love my fellow man and I hold sacred those things which matter most, Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and my family.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Wayne McLaws
A loving God has made it possible for me to be with my beautiful family for eternity. A loving Heavenly Father wouldn't have it any other way. Show more Show less

Who are the Mormons?

Wayne McLaws
Mormons are a group of imperfect people who follow a perfect gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive for perfection, but fall short often. We work hard to serve each other, as well as those not of our faith. We believe we can show our faith in Jesus Christ by living our lives the way He lived His, in service of others. We are anxious to share with others what has brought us true joy. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Wayne McLaws
I believe it is only in and through Jesus Christ that I have potential to return to my Heavenly Father. I say "return" because I know I was with him before coming to earth. Jesus Christ suffered an infinite sacrifice so that I have the ability to repent and come clean of my sins. I love Him and owe my life to Him. Show more Show less
