Hi I'm Rob

I'm a dad. I'm an archivist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Professionally, I'm an archivist. I've always loved history and am fortunate to have a career doing something I love. Personally, I love vacationing with my family. My wife and I have 5 children and we all love to find and explore new places, although we usually find ourselves at a beach at some point during the year.

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the church in the early 1830's so I was raised in the LDS church. However I have chosen to stay with the church for many reasons. I am an optimist. I not only buy into the "happily ever after" scenario, I am selling it to as many as will listen. As children of a loving Heavenly Father we are endowed with gifts and talents that make it possible for us to succeed in this life and achieve all we want to achieve. But despite these gifts we still need help. And it is my experience that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides those extra blessings that help us to reach our fullest potential. I am a Mormon because I haven't found a better way to follow Jesus Christ than through active membership in His church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I'm the bishop for a congregation of young single adults. It's great because I get to work and associate with a group of people who are at the crossroads of their lives; they are all making life changing decisions. And while making these decisions, they sure know how to have a good time. I'm along for the ride. It's a fun way to teach others about how Jesus Christ can help them plan and accomplish life goals.
