Hi I'm Adam

I love my family, learning, the Spanish language, and I love being a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student who loves to learn! I'm majoring in Exercise Physiology. I love learning about a wide variety of things from History, to the importance of the family, and from Chemistry, to how our bodies work. My love for Christ and His teachings are at the core of what I choose to make the foundation of my life. I served a full time mission in Wisconsin, USA speaking English and Spanish. As a result of that my life has been changed forever. I have gained a love for sharing my beliefs and the principles I know will improve anyone and everyone's life. Also, during those 2 years of being a missionary I really learned how to love others with a deep unselfish love, a love that makes a person pray with all their heart for others. That love comes through turning outward and focusing on others, putting personal passions aside. I've come to know that through Christ, a belief in His love, a belief in self, and action a person can accomplish miracles.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was baptized into the LDS Church before she married my father, but all of my life I have been raised with a faith in Christ and the LDS faith has been an integral part of my whole life. As with all people, I decide every day how full I want to live my faith. Through experience and by feeling the Holy Spirit communicate to me in simple yet profound ways, I have come

How I live my faith

As a full-time missionary I worked morning, mid-day, and night actively teaching people about Christ and openly sharing how following Him and His prophets on the Earth will bring peace, happiness, and confidence in self and the future. Also during my time as a missionary I participated in many many service projects, from helping with inner-city gardens to helping paint homes. Now that I've returned from my mission I'm going to school, but my understanding of the joy that comes from service has not died. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints usually comes along with many opportunities to be actively engaged in following Christ through service. The Church does not have any hired priests or clergy, so we (the members) have the great opportunity to help in many ways to support, love, teach, and help things run smoothly at church and out of church. Currently I am in charge of taking care of the church records, which means a I usually spend a couple hours every week at the church updating records. In the past I have taught classes during church. Because members of our congregations become so close, we watch over and help each other. I've helped many people in the community move into and out of their homes! As a disciple of Christ, I look for ways to give service because I know that is one way I can thank Christ. He has even commanded we love one another, and a very important way to do that is to serve one another.
