Hi I'm Kristin

I was born in to the Church as my dad's parents joined the Church before he was born and my mom joined the Church when she was 23. Growing up, my parents required us to go to Church, but once we turned 16, it was clear that continuing to go to Church was a decision we had to make. I never questioned going- I loved Church and that has carried with me throughout my life. I love this Gospel. I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ, who has atoned for the sins of the world so that we may return to our loving Heavenly Father. I am grateful to the Prophet Joseph Smith who was able and willing to listen to the Lord and establish His Church on the earth once more. I am grateful and love dearly the modern-day prophet, Thomas S. Monson, for his kindness, his gentleness and his love. I am grateful for the Temple, for the power therein that we on earth may be sealed to those we love most for eternity. I am grateful for the testimony I have of the Gospel, for the light it gives me when times are dark, and for the ability I have to glimpse the eternal perspective and know that one day, if I live righteously, I will return to my Father and my Saviour.

In my ward, I am the Mission Prep teacher and I love it because each week, I get to teach people how to be better missionaries and also basic principles of the Gospel as well as study habits, time management, working with others, etc. I love my calling. It is so rewarding and helpful to me as I learn how to be a better member missionary and to reach out to others who are seeking for the truth.
