Hi I'm Justin

I play the guitar and drums. I'm Canadian. I am a missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I enjoyed music, a lot.  I still do. At age 12 i started playing guitar a bit but when i was in High School I decided to take on drumming. I enjoy jamming on the drums. Having played tuba for 6 years, I also learned how to read music and I learned a little bit of music theory. Sometimes when i can't find much to do, I'll sit at the piano or with my guitar and figure out something to play. I also love cars. The way they operate truly fascinates me. I would not call myself a mechanic by any means, however, I do like rubbing my knuckles under the hood of a car and figuring out how everything works. I could say something that sparked that interest was seeing my dad be able to figure out what was wrong with our cars and then fixing it. I always wished i could grow up to do the same. Family is something that is very important me. I've always looked up to my family members who have served missions and have set good examples for me. As a missionary I have become even more aware of the importance of family and why we have them. I am grateful for the family I have.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I was born into the church. However, after learning about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout my life, and having prayed about the truthfulness which it contains, I feel that the doctrines taught here are true. I feel that God does not want us to be confused. The entire Gospel of Jesus Christ just makes sense to me. Although I do not know even a fraction of the Doctrines of eternity, I do Know that if i live my life correctly, and rely on Christ to make up the rest, I will someday have the opportunity to know all of those "mysteries". I know that My learning will not be limited to this life alone. It just makes sense.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a mission for the Church. I have left my family, friends and home. I have come 3000 miles to share the Gospel with my brothers and sisters. I have been serving for over 18 months.
