Hi I'm Keegan

I'm a family man. I'm a college student. I like chocolate. I have served in the United States armed forces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in college working towards a degree in accounting. I'm a proud parent of two daughters. I like computers, music, and traveling. I served in the Army National Guard in both Idaho and California, USA. My service, education, and family serve as constant reminders of my temporal and spiritual responsibilities. As a father, I help my family develop stronger faith in Jesus and His teachings.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though my parents are Mormon, I still wasn't sure about my own beliefs while growing up. When I was a teenager I finally decided that I needed a sure answer for myself whether my parents' beliefs were true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it and this church were true. I felt such a strong feeling of peace and comfort come over me. Although I'm not perfect, I strive to choose the right every day so I can be blessed.

How I live my faith

I like to read or listen too the scriptures every day. Every time I read or hear a verse that gives a commandment from the Lord I ask myself if I'm following that particular commandment myself. I enjoy teaching a class at church every Sunday, helping lead discussions revolving around Jesus Christ and His teachings.

Are Mormons Christians?

Keegan
If a Christian can be considered someone who believes in Jesus Christ and accepts Him as their Savior, Lord, and Redeemer, then yes, Mormons are most definitely Christians. All other doctrines and principles aside, it is only through the Grace, Merits, and Mercy of Jesus Christ that we can be saved from our fallen state. At the end of the day, it comes down to our personal relationship with the Lord and His merciful hand extended toward us in forgiveness of our wrongdoings. I firmly believe His words and His promise that through faith in Him and His words and works, I can be saved and accepted into His kingdom. Show more Show less
