Hi I'm Holly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of five children. I love running, baking, food, listening to music and being with family and friends. I went to travel school and was a travel agent before I got married. When my youngest is in school I plan to go back and finish my degree. I am married to a great man, Kent, who works in College Athletics.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to live the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I truly believe these are the teachings that Christ set up when he was on the earth. I believe that following those teachings are the only way to live with our Heavenly Father. Or in other words, the way to reach the place where we will be the most happy. Through living these principles I know that my family can continue as a family unit forever and we can be together always. Being a Mormon has taught me that we lived before we came to this earth. That there is a purpose of why we are here - to be tested and gain knowledge. That our God has not left us alone. We have a prophet to give us the direction we need. No other place can I find more meaning to my life and have the assurance inside my heart that it is true.

How I live my faith

Living my faith happens each day for me. It is remembering each day why I am here. Remembering each day that Jesus Christ set an example for me to make it back to where I came from, living with my Heavenly Father and having my family with me. I try to follow him by living his gospel that he taught. Going to church each Sunday. And trying to serve others and help them along the way as well. At this time I am invloved in teaching and organizing events for the women in my church community. We have or will have activities that teach us tips about a garden and lots of ideas to use produce, how the internet can help strengthen our families, being prepared in different emergencies, and many others that help us work together in bettering ourselves.
