Hi I'm Matt

I'm a missionary. I love running, mountain biking, and backpacking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Mountain biking and Backpacking are both really big hobbies of mine. I'm a Missionary right now for the Church. Afterwards i'm going to go to back to college and major in Finance. I come from a large family of 9. I play the trumpet and the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it just makes sense. Christ set up a church. Called Twelve Apostles. Christ was killed. The church was now in the hands of his Twelve Apostles. The Twelve Apostles were sent to preach the gospel to the world. The Apostles were slowly killed off. The Church fell apart. Through the Prophet Joseph Smith, our Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ, restored his church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords church on the Earth once more. It follows everything that Christ taught, and by knowing the Book of Mormon is true, i know the rest of the church is true. We now have a Prophet and Apostles once more and they lead and guide his church today. I have found solace in the gospel so many times that i cannot deny the truthfulness of this gospel. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a Missionary. I spend every day talking to people, getting to know them, and sharing my belief about our Savior and how His Church has been restored to the Earth. I live my faith by blind trust sometimes. It's hard to keep going sometimes when no one wants to learn or everyone wants to discourage your faith. That's when I let my faith lead me and put my trust in the Lord. I live my faith knowing that when i do all i can, the Lord will pick up the slack.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Matt
Faith is a verb It requires action to exist. Faith requires nourishment to survive. Nourishment comes from reading scriptures and praying. For faith to be able to grow and increase, exercise is then required. Just as excercise for the body builds and increases muscles, excercising faith will build and increase faith. Simple things like sharing a testimony, repenting of our sins and putting our trust in God daily will allow our faith to grow. Show more Show less
