Hi I'm Jared

I'm a runner. I'm a red head. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports especially basketball. People call me crazy because I run for fun, but hey thats me! I'm a missionary right now in Utah and I'm loving it. I'm from Michigan and I come from a gigantic family, I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters and another sibling is on its way in April.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want to be. Its amazing how I can be so happy at times when it seems like everything is going wrong and its because of the beliefs that I have as a Mormon. No matter how hard life gets I know that someone else has felt exactly the same way and that someone is my Savior and older brother Jesus Christ. The decisions that I have made in my life would of been completely then they are. I love been a Mormon because I can have so much fun with a bunch of people who have high standards and morals and I don't have to worry about going the wrong thing. I'm a Mormon though because I have seen miracles in my life and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I have read many times the Book of Mormon and thought about it and how it can help me in my life overcome the day to day struggles that we all have. Then I prayed over and over again day after day to know if the Book of Mormon was true. Luckily for me I found out for myself. I felt this chill just shoot through me and then this over coming feeling of warmth and love that I will never forget. I was born into a family that raised me in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I was able to know for myself that this is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a missionary. I am on a mission right now in Utah for 2 years. I go and teach people about Jesus Christ and how his church is on the earth again and how it can bless us and has blessed me. I walk all day, knock on doors, and share this message of hope and joy with others. I have been asked to learn spanish and share the gospel with people who speak spanish. I have gone forward with this and now I can communicate and teach people in spanish. I am devoting my life for two years to only teach the gospel. I leave my family, friends, school, work and everything else behind and I pay for my own mission for two years. Its awesome!

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Jared
The mormon missionaries will talk about you when they visit your home. They will get to know you, find out what role God has played in your life, what things are difficult in your life right now, and how through the teaching of Jesus Christ that they share, your life can get even better and how you will feel even stronger the love of God in your life.
