Hi I'm Larissa

I'm a mechanical engineer. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE to laugh! I love being happy. Life is not easy and a little laughter helps me out. I've got to say, there's nothing better than spending time with family or friends. I'm a college student studying mechanical engineering and love learning about airplanes and rockets. I enjoy solving problems of all kinds. My personal relationship with God and being able to feel His love in my life is everything. I've worked with jet engines and the space shuttle as an intern. That time spent away from home really opened my eyes to what the world has to offer and how cool this world is! Every person I've ever met has their own unique story and I love learning about what makes people tick. What have they been through? Are they happy with their life or do they have a few things they want to change? I joke around with my friends about wanting to have at least enough kids for a good basketball team and a few subs after that. Speaking of which, I love a good pick-up game of basketball, a little ultimate frisbee, or some racquetball. My long term goals include having a family. I want to be at home with my kids. I don't mind sitting at a computer all day, just depends on what I'm doing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I LOVE what we teach. I LOVE who I am becoming as I try to follow those teachings. I find answers to life's questions. My greatest goal is to live with God after this life. Yep, that's right... live with God!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a little bit more like Christ everyday. I served full-time as a missionary in Houston, Texas. Now, I help out the missionaries that live in my hometown. I love seeing people's lives change for the better as they realize they can become who they've always wanted to be. No one has ever thrown away their last chance and I live my faith by sharing with EVERYBODY what makes me happy! It is NEVER too late.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Larissa
I know that there is a God when I pray. If I stop for just a few seconds after addressing my Heavenly Father, I can feel that He is listening. He has definitely answered my prayers and each time that He does, I can feel my faith grow! Show more Show less
