Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California and Hawaii. I am a wife, mother and designer. All in that order.

About Me

I grew up in California and Hawaii. It would be obvious that I love the beach, having grown up by it. I finished a degree in Clothing Design and loved my career. My bigger dream was to marry someone who was right for me and have a family. And of course, be by the beach! I love cities, I love eating out, I love art, I love a good mystery and I love a terribly bad action movie. Oh, and I love cookies and sushi. But most of alll I love to help others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family. When I was nine our "picture perfect" family divorced and my childhood slipped away quickly into responsibility for my family. That experience made me who I am today. I fell away from church activity when I was 21 while attending college. I believed, I prayed and I read my scriptures but I still did not attend church. Then at 25 I returned, stronger and very commited to being a true convert and discple of Christ. My testimony is my life standard. It is what I treasure most and continue to build through my life and it's challenges.

How I live my faith

Each day I start with a prayer. In fact I find my thoughts turned to my Savior throughout the day and think of Him often. I read my scriptures each day, the Book of Mormon is a strength to me and written plainly. I have read it too many times to count but I can say each time I find new thoughts and inspiration for my life. I also read the Bible. I love the book of James and the stories of Paul. I teach the children in our congregation. It is completely fun and crazy and special. And it helps me to have perspective on what really is important in life. I keep my life simple and try hard to remember my life is given to me by God.
