Hi I'm Zach

I love to be active. I love to relax. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active. Just going out and doing things. Sports have been a part of me all my life. But at the same time I love the relaxed side of life- its all about finding the right balance. I have an awesome family where I am the oldest of the kids. I am now serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Texas Houston South Mission, and I am loving it. Who would have thought that giving up two years of your life for other people would be such an amazing experience? Well it is.

Why I am a Mormon

For me its all about the little things. I haven't had some crazy experience or anything like that. It's just been step by step, little by little. But these little things reallly start to build on themselves after a while to become that huge thing that I think that a lot of people search for. Have I been unsure and doubted before? Yup, things don't always go as you would like or think that they would. But when that happens turn to the ultimate source of all truth- to our Heavenly Father; thats what I did. Read and pray, listen to your heart, pay attention to your feelings. Sometimes this can be a little difficult, it was for me. I'm not all that much of a feelings person, but I felt something that I know that I didn't just make up in my head or my heart.

How I live my faith

Like I said before, its all about the samall and simple things. Reading scriptures (The Book of Mormon and Bible), praying, even just thinking about that stuff every day is the way to go. Help those around you, show the kindness and love that Christ would show if He were in your place. Now of course nobody is perfect (well there was one of course) but thats just how things go. All that we have to do is pick ourselves up after we fall, fix what we can, and say- "Well, I'm not gonna do that again." And there ya go, you learned and you're a better person for it.
