Hi I'm Rinez

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Ontario Canada and raised in Utah. I attended Brigham Young University for a year and then met the love of my life. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple and are the parents of 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls, all grown. We have 20 grandchildren. I enjoy music of all sorts and play the piano as well as sing. I love to sew and have made a lot of my own clothing, lots of clothing for grandchildren as well as blankets and quilts. I do handwork such as crocheting, cross stitching. It is very important to me to keep photos and memorabilia in good order and so photo albums are up to date and are among my most treasured possessions. I keep a journal because I have such an awful memory. My journal and my photos are my memory.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church to goodly parents who taught me the gospel. Over the years, I attended my church meetings, read and studied the scriptures which include the Book of Mormon, the Bible, the Doctrine & Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. I have lived the principles because I have peace and happiness in my life regardless of the trials and challenges. I trust in Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ completely and know that if I submit my will to God's, it will always be right.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every Sunday. I am a counselor in the presidency of the Relief Society and enjoy that so much. I also substitute at the piano or the organ when needed. I am a visiting teacher which means I am responsible for four women and check on them monthly at least, more often if I can. I see to their physical and spiritual needs as best as I can and make sure they get the help they need if I can't help them. I am an ordinance worker in the Los Angeles Temple. Sacred ordinances take place there. I pray twice daily as well as offer blessings on the food. I read scriptures each day. I try to be of service when called upon or to be aware of others who need my help and reach out without being asked.
