Hi I'm Chrissy

I live in Kansas. I am a wife a mother of 5 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Kansas. I'm a wife and a mother of five children. I'm a mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I find greater purpose in life knowing that I am a child of God and have the potential to become like him. The mormon church teaches these truths so simply. That is why I am a mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live the principles of the gospel every day of my life. I am a stay at home mom with 5 wonderful kids. I take my role as mother seriously. I teach my children the way that my Heavenly Father teaches me--with love, respect and gentleness. I rejoice in seeing my children grow into good people.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Chrissy
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. In its original form, before all the translations, it contained the fullness of the gospel. Over time, however, through repeated translations, it has lost some of the plain and precious parts of the gospel. The Book of Mormon does not replace the Bible, but rather stands next to it as a companion volume of scripture to clarify and establish the truth of the Bible. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Chrissy
I know that God teaches his people through prophets. He did it this way in the ancient times and continues this pattern today. I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who translated the Book of Mormon and established and restored Christ's true church once again on the earth. God continues to call prophets today. President Thomas S. Monson is his living prophet right now. Show more Show less
